Ask Landos Something

This stuff matters to teens. Politics matter, microaggressions matter, family pressures matter, environment matters. When I hear people say they want more stories that don’t focus on coming out, I agree. But when I hear people dismiss coming out stories as irrelevant, I want them to drive through Simon’s neighborhood right before an election. I want them to spend an afternoon with Aaron’s friends.

I want them to imagine living 32 years without ever having seen a gay couple holding hands in their suburban hometown.

There is no universal gay experience. All stories are relevant, and all stories are needed. Even now. Especially now.

The Bully

This comic I made over a year ago, but I’ve touched it up since and I’m happy to share it on tumblr C: while I’ve improved immensely since I made this, I’m still really proud of myself for making it.

ps. this was during a stage in my art where I was a little texture heavy, heh heh

((*poke* uh dude, did you forget our Rp?))

(It’s not that I forgot, it’s that I have not signed on this blog in forever.)

Does anyone else with ADHD make random noises or have to fight the urge to make random noises?

Its not like, frequent or interfering with my life but I sometimes just find myself figiting by making noises (“beep boop boop” or “doo doo duh” kind of scatty noises, at least for me
) or singing out loud…

Eh. I don’t fight it so much as I make them quietly enough they don’t really bother anyone. But practically the same problem here.

it is telling that the people who are so concerned with the dangerous effects of the obesity epidemic on health don’t really talk about poverty, overwork, violence, misogyny, racism, or stress despite it being clear that they are very obviously bad for the public’s health. like, don’t pretend to give a crap about ‘health’ when you ignore all those problems in favour of telling people to just buy fresh vegetables and gym memberships.

A black teenager could have a 200 IQ and find the cure for cancer and white people will still say affirmative action is the reason why they got into college

A white kid could have a 200 IQ and discover the cure for cancer and people will say his alumni daddy is the reason he got into college.

A white person will see a post having nothing to do with them and still find a way to include themselves

Ignorant tumblr users will see this post and still won’t be happy if cancer is cured.
